When is the next Monopoly Go Partner Event?

Monopoly Go is a game which often pits you against other players in your quest to earn more cash and collect as much property as possible. But it doesn't always have to be you against the world, and that's the case in Monopoly Go Partner Events.

These regular events encourage you to team-up with friends so you can work together to earn more money - instead of stealing it from other players with Shutdowns or Bank Heists. These events don't happen all the time, so if you missed the most recent one you may be wondering when is the next Monopoly Go Partner Event?

Next Monopoly Go Partner Event

The latest Monopoly Go Partner Event is Rocket Partners, which launched on Thursday 15 August 2024 and ends on Tuesday 20 August 2024. The Grand Prize for the event includes 5,000 dice rolls, a Wild sticker and the Retro Rocket token. Like other Partner Events, in Rocket Partners you have to team up with your in-game friends, or three random players, to build four landmarks in the center of the board.

To progress, you need to collect cylinder tokens from around the board and other events, which can then be used to spin the Partner Wheel and earn the points needed to build each landmark. Besides the Grand Prize, there are plenty of other rewards that can be won, which are unlocked when certain milestones are hit.

What was the last Monopoly Go Partner Event?

The previous Monopoly Go Partner Event was Ice Cream Partners. This event ran from Wednesday 10 July 2024 to Monday 15 July 2024. In this event, you had to team up with your in-game friends, or random players, to build four landmarks in the center of the board. To do this, you had to collect a special currency that looked like an ice cream lolly. You could get this currency by landing on specific tiles on the board and from other events. These tokens were then used as currency to spin the partner wheel and earn points needed to build the event's landmarks.

The Grand Prize for Ice Cream Partners included 5,000 dice rolls, a purple sticker pack and the Ice Cream Truck token.

A few weeks later, Scopely also held another event that is similar to Partner Events called City Racers, which ran from Thursday 1 August 2024 to Monday 5 August 2024. Like Partner Events, in City Racers players had to team up with their in-game friends or strangers to earn a range of rewards, including a Wild Sticker.

How do Partner Events work in Monopoly Go?

In Partner Events you have to join forces with other real-life Monopoly Go players to collect themed tokens which are specific to that event. Once you collect enough tokens, you can cash them in to spin a prize wheel. The wheel dishes out points needed to progress through the event and unlock different milestones. Once all milestones are completed you'll receive the grand prize for the event.

You can play Partner Events with your real-life friends, or enlist the help of other random players instead. When a Partner Event is running, in the center of the board you'll see four blank profile icons and a green plus button underneath it. Click the plus button to see the players you can team-up with.
